| Here are some pictures of our
furry family members. Sharing our home with these wonderful cats
is very enriching, satisfying, and just plain fun!! |

|
This is Mario, our "senior." He is 9 years
old, a big, big boy at 16 lbs, and super affectionate and playful.
He is named after Super Mario of Nintendo fame.
|
| This is Zen. He is
very "Zen" in that he lives in the moment...a very happy-go-lucky,
lovey-dovey little guy who can jump higher than any cat I've ever seen.
Zen, Petey, and Noah are all from the same litter, and they are just
over 1 year old - still very, VERY kitten-like in behavior! |

|
Petey is a little fluffball of love - he his just so
sweet and innocent! He is named after another (milder) obsession - our
PT Cruisers (yes, that is plural...we have two PT Cruisers - three if
you count the furry version, Petey!)
|
| Noah's namesake is the
gentleman who built the Ark. As you can see by where he decided
the most appropriate place for a nap is, he is both very impish and very
sweet. |

This is our first little girl cat, Frankie.
Frankie had a very difficult start in life; when she was 3 weeks old
(long before she came into our lives) she had a very serious eye
infection that almost caused her to lose her sight. At one point
the infection was so severe, removing one of her eyes and euthanizing
her were both considered. However, she beat the odds and pulled
through with about 70% of her sight intact. When she was well
enough to be put up for adoption, she was passed over many times
because of her eye damage; however, when we saw her sweet little face
we could not resist her! She is so full of spunk and love for
life - she really completes our home.
|
| This is Trixie. To
make a very long story short, Trixie showed up on our back porch as a
starving stray - she weighed only 4.5 lbs when she should have really
weighed 8 lbs! Trixie was very scared of us, so the only way we
could rescue her and save her from starvation was to catch her in a
Have-a-Heart trap. It was very heart-wrenching to see her in the
trap, but she is now indoors with us, at a good weight, and never has to
worry about being cold or hungry again! Despite her fearful early
days on our back porch, Trixie has blossomed into a super-friendly,
super-cuddley, super-playful little cat! |

This is our Mr. Kitty.
Sadly, when he was just 12 years old, Mr. K lost his battle with feline
lymphoma on December 25, 2002, despite putting up an incredible fight
against this nasty disease. We will always miss Mr. Kitty.
